A unique lakeside accommodation with a nice view of Åkers kanal, Åkersbro and Prästfjärden. Here you live in a carefully renovated warehouse on three floors from about 1850 with preserved charm. The house feels both luxurious and cozy and has a fantastic atmosphere and tranquility. NOTE: Not safe for smaller children; stairs without railings, windows without child lock at floor level with high fall height. Not adapted for accessibility. The space The entrance floor is an inviting open space where you are directly taken by the cozy feeling with the old logs in nice harmony with comfortable decor. There is a large kitchen island for lovely socializing, where you can enjoy the fire while cooking a dinner together. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you need for cooking. The dining area accommodates up to 8-10 people, a small corner with lake views and a sofa corner with TV. On the middle floor there is a bathroom with shower and washing machine. One bedroom with a 140 bed and a small desk. Living room/open space with a 160 bed, chest of drawers and in its own corner a 90-bed. The beds are housed behind drapes for a private feel. On the upper floor (attic) there is a 180 bed, two 90 beds, sofa with TV as well as a workplace and a small toilet. Note: The steps up are steep. (Original staircase from the nineteenth century.) (Possibility to set up an extra bed is available, SEK 400.) Guest access You have the accommodation to yourself and the entrance is separate. The neighboring houses are our buildings for the business. In summer, we have a café and canoe rental open. Please check the website or ask for opening hours. We also live in one of the houses nearby. You can drive all the way to the house. (No possibility to charge an electric car.) You have access to a small public jetty and a bench by the canal/lake. Other things to note Firewood is available and included (winter time). There are candles, dish detergent, soap and other things in the house. All the basics such as flour, spices, and more are free to use. Kitchen towels are available. A backpack and thermos are available. The house should be left in the same condition as upon arrival. Cleaning is not included in the price. In case of inadequate cleaning or if you want to buy cleaning, it costs SEK 1,000. Guests bring their own sheets and towels.
