Creekside Cabin

A serene getaway from it all! This newly built cabin is a luxurious glamping experience surrounded by nature and nestled on a seasonal creek. The space Creekside Cabin is located 7 miles north of Hico, right off of Hwy 220 on your way to/from DFW. It is set in the most relaxed setting on the Duffau Creek. Surrounded by nature, you will enjoy all 277 square feet of this unique beauty. There is a queen bed, a couple of chairs in the bedroom to relax in and a dining table with chairs. The cabin has full power and all the basic amenities are provided. A heater for those chilly nights and an AC for those warm summer days makes it a very comfortable getaway. The kitchen has a two-burner gas stove top and all the kitchen supplies needed for cooking. A mini-fridge is provided for your convenience. A coffee maker and all the makings for a fresh cup are provided. No WiFi Access. No TV. A variety of games are provided (Skipbo, Uno, cards, etc). A gas grill is outside for all your grilling needs. 3 pieces of wood and kindling are provided for each night of your stay, unless a burn ban is in effect Dogs are allowed for a $50 fee for each one. No cats allowed. We have very strict guidelines. No dogs on the bed. Dog must be on a leash at all times. Dog must stay on the cabin property, not on the adjacent property at all. All poop must be picked up and placed in the outside metal trash can. You take responsibility for any and all incidents that may occur with cabin property inside and out, as well as, any livestock on the adjacent properties. IMPORTANT: NO PARTIES NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS NO PETS NO SMOKING INSIDE A wide variety of critters live in rural Texas. Snakes, wild boars, deer, armadillos, spiders, and scorpions are not unusual. Not all are friendly! We do not see them often, but stay alert and exercise caution. We do not recommend letting any children explore without supervision. We, the homeowners, are not responsible for the natural wildlife or any harm they may cause to guests. By submitting your payment to AirBnB to rent our cabin, you indicate that all guests in your party understand the risks, and that we, the homeowners, cannot be held liable for personal harm resulting from the natural wildlife. Guest access The property is perfect for a walk in nature or to have a seat by the creek to enjoy the sound of the rippling water. Please remember it is a seasonal creek, so at times the water may be low or dry. Other things to note Creekside Cabin is nestled between a cow/horse pasture and a goat farm
