We are very fortunate to boast the best views in our area and would love to share this memorable experience with you. Dellven Drive Retreat is a beautiful country escape to enjoy a relaxing getaway with romantic sunrise & sunsets. Perfect place for couples, catching up with friends & families with teenagers. We cater for group bookings of up to 8 guests. And we are well equipped for remote workers with a study nook, a desk in a private room and fast internet. Bring your own bicycle & enjoy the scenery. Table Top is a very popular destination for cyclists. Breakfast is complimentry to your stay for the first 2 days and is stocked prior to your arrival conveniently for you to cook. This includes bacon & eggs, bakery bread, cereal, fruit, fresh milk, juice, tea & coffee. Please note that we are an adults only & teenage retreat (guests must be 13+years to stay) Our property is not suitable for children as we have steep embankments, dams and water troughs with no secure house yard. Our house is not safely set up or caters for young children. However we would love to host them when they are all grown up. Seasonal Interest... Changing seasons all year round gives you a truly majestical experience. The properties elevated position allows you to enjoy looking out to Bowna and Table Top Lake Hume Weir. The mountains extend out to Mount Bogong and provide jaw dropping Winter scenery. Spring time brings blossoms on the deciduous trees upon entering the property which leads you up the winding drive way. For added privacy they are planted around the house and provide brilliant autumn colour. We still get excited at the forever changing landscape throughout the year. If you have a keen interest for photography and enjoy capturing natural photo’s you will have lots of opportunities to get great snapshots. Twilight is especially good for memorable scenic pics from the deck. Bird Lovers Paradise… Our natural surrounds draw an abundance of colourful birdlife which come in seasonally. Kookaburra’s, Rainbow Bee Eaters, Flame Robins, Superb Fairy Wrens and a large variety of native Parrots are some of the most beautiful species which can be observed. Pamper Yourself… Pour a wine, grab a cuppa or cold drink. Enjoy it from the wrap around spotted gum deck which has a bar and polished concrete tables & chairs. Complete with a courtyard that has a garden & lounge area for you to relax in. And a charming French wrought iron table & chairs. Enjoy the Natural Charm… The architecturally built home is filled with loads of natural light and natural features throughout. Beautifully polished concrete floors with locally sourced stones and an art gallery of birds that frequent the property invite you to enter the house. Entertain Yourself… Relax in one of three spacious entertainment spaces. The theatre room is fully equipped with a large screen smart TV and sound bar for that in home cinema experience. Also included is a mini-library for book lovers. The games room has a beautifully crafted classic pool table for your enjoyment and a wood fire to keep you warm in the Winter months. It also has an office nook work space. And the expansive gallery kitchen, dining and lounge area which captures the stunning views has a wood fire which is double sided an extra feature of comfort. There is a reverse-cycle heater/airconditioner in each of these spaces. And double glazed windows & doors througout the house. Added Luxury in the Bedrooms…. There are four bedrooms which are all fitted with smart TV’s. The master bedroom has a super king size bed, expansive walk-in robe and private ensuite. It has a courtyard surrounded by beautiful gardens providing a truly relaxing experience overlooking the panoramic views and birdlife. There are two rooms with queen size beds. And one room with two king singles. Each with extra blankets. Powder Room… A bit more Luxe for you to glam up for that romantic occasion. There is a hair dryer & large mirror providing extra space to get ready. Main Bathroom… Relax & unwind soaking in the really deep bath tub or take a shower. For your convenience there is a hair dryer to blow dry your hair in front of the huge mirror. Laundry… The laundry is equipped with a washing machine (detergent is supplied) & dryer. And a clothes line to air dry your clothes. EV Charger... Charge your car for free with no extra electricity costs. Farm Shed... For the safety of our guests you are not permitted to access the farm shed. There are two visible external video cameras located on the shed capturing video & audio recordings. They monitor the shed and the driveway and provide extra safety and security for you while you are on the property. They will be on during your stay. To ensure your privacy when you stay there are no cameras in the house. Guest access You can access any part of the house including the expansive deck area & courtyard overlooking the picturesque views. The property managers residence is located over 100 meters from the house and is at the back of the shed. It has a high fence to maintain maximum privacy. If you require any assistance with anything please message your host via airbnb. Please gain prior permission to go into paddocks. Entry to the property is by automatic gates. And there is a lockbox for the keys to the house. Other things to note We have a steep short driveway however it is well maintained and big & small cars are able to easily drive up it.
