Relax in "Gite2", a spacious tufa house on two levels; completely renovated, with all comforts (3 stars, air conditioning) right on the banks of the river Loir. A 2-person Jacuzzi (massage jets and bubbles) awaits you. Relax on the banks of the Loir with activities such as swimming, canoeing-boating, fishing, etc. Quiet location but close to shops. Visit Lavardin, Trôo, Le Mans / the 24 hour race, the wine route, the leisure lake with swimming beach, etc. The space The open living area with its fully equipped kitchen has underfloor heating. Air conditioning is available in summer and a pellet stove in winter. The large windows overlook the private garden with the banks of the Loir. Wi-Fi, TV and Netflix are available free of charge. The cosy bathroom is spacious and has a whirlpool for 2 people, a walk-in shower and underfloor heating. The WC is separate. Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms with double glazing and electric shutters. The first bedroom has a 140 cm wide bamboo double bed, a spacious wardrobe and a desk. The second bedroom has bunk beds of 80cm (upper bed) and 120cm (lower bed) width, a wardrobe and also a desk, as well as books and games for children. It is possible to add a 90cm wide extra bed and/or a baby travel cot. All rooms have a view of the garden and the river. Guest access A private parking space is reserved for you in the courtyard, directly in front of your accommodation. Normally we are on site to welcome you, but you can arrive at any time. If you arrive late, for example, we will leave the house key in the secure key box located right next to the entrance door. We will contact you in good time to organise your arrival. The accommodation is located only 16min from the TGV station Villiers/Vendôme (from Paris Montparnasse to Villiers/Vendôme it only takes 42min by TGV.). It is possible to pick you up and drop you off at the TGV station (extra charge). You also have the option of renting a New Beetle convertible for the duration of your stay (extra charge). Other things to note We live close to the accommodation (300m away); in case of need we can be on site quickly.
