Adorable Countryside Guest Annex

This delightful ground floor, open plan style country Guest House, formally used but now known as The Old Stable sits in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside village of Wendlebury, in a small family holding. Only 5 minutes from Bicester Village & a 15 minute drive to Oxford city centre where there are endless site-seeing, activities, shopping and countryside walks on your doorstep. We also have a wonderful village pub a few hundred yards from the property itself. A place to come, relax & enjoy! The space As you arrive into the driveway of Rose Cottage, you will be met with The Old Stable straight ahead of you. The open plan, ground floor layout of the property is well equipped, designed to make you not only feel at home, but also a space where you can relax, unwind and de-stress. Sat on a private gated driveway we have 24/7 cctv to make you feel at complete ease as well as secure off street parking. There is a modern open plan living room/kitchen with electric oven/microwave, hob, fridge with small freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The Smart TV has access to the usual regular channels and you can also login to digital channels such as Netflix and Amazon Prime should you have an account. The downstairs bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. There is underfloor heating throughout the property. The open plan style continues and the ground floor leads on to a large open plan style bedroom which has a built in wardrobe with lots of space to hang clothes as well as built in drawers. The bedroom can be set up as either 2 Single beds or 1 Superking bed - please let us know upon booking which layout you would prefer. There is a small patio area with a table and chairs at the entrance of the property. Please note this driveway is used by us as well to access our home. Please discuss this with us before booking! Guest access Entire property for private/sole use of guests. There is a large gravel area directly in front of property for safe parking and easy access. The Old Stable is situated in the heart of Wendlebury village and is a completely separate and private building away from where my mother and myself reside. Upon your stay we want you to feel as welcome as possible but also as undisturbed as desired. With the current situation in mind, I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance and includes the following: The sanitisation of all high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknobs and light switches. Using extensive cleaning checklists to clean each room. The provision of extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay. Other things to note Please note that The Old Stable is located on the grounds of a very warm welcoming family home. We do have two small, cute and rather friendly doggies - a Yorkshire Terrier(just over a year old) and a Maltipoo (just under a year old). The old stables is located within the grounds of Rose Cottage. There is a secure gate (labelled Rose Cottage) that will be closed at all times, this is for access to the main house and we ask you to not go past this point as this is where we live! Also it secures the dogs in. They do love and adore attention from people but we will keep them out of your way, unless you would like some cuddles - just let us know! PLEASE NOTE.. Pet Policy: we are only open to small dogs (/pets) for short stays. Please discuss this with us before booking. Also please ensure any booking requests include the pet as there is a pet fee. Thank you! Wendlebury is a quiet and established village featuring a 13th century church, and 17th century public house highly regarded for great food. While the village is tucked away it offers exceptional access to many places. Oxford with all it has to offer is just 20 mins by car. Bicester (including its world-famous shopping outlet), Bicester Village is barely a 15 minute cycle ride, while Heathrow and Birmingham airports are 50 miles in each direction via the nearby M40. Stratford and the Shakespeare theatres are just 40 mins drive, and London centre is accessible by train non-stop in 42 mins from Bicester's two' rail stations.
