Featured in the book, "Back to the Woods," Unique Stays of WI and MN, the Asher offers guests a contemporary open concept layout, stunning Lake Michigan views, a wide sandy beach accessed directly from the house, a lakeside hot tub, multiple fireplaces, and chefs' kitchen. The Asher offers guests custom furnishings, antique and vintage pieces, stunning lake views, direct beach access, an outside hot tub and lakeside fire pit, and hotel grade amenities. Guest Amenities: Vose focuses on creating spaces filled with luxury details and amenities. All stays include the following: - 8-person lakefront hot tub - Bath products from LA-based organic producer, Flamingo Estate - Breville & Nespresso espresso makers and gourmet whole and ground coffee - Sonos speakers - Turkish bath towels - Bertazzoni gas range - WÜSTHOF kitchen knives - Down duvets and linen duvet covers - Custom blackout drapes and curtains in all bedrooms - Original fine and vintage art - Lakeside firepit with firewood - Weber outdoor gas grill - Monogram kitchen appliances - High-speed internet & SmartTV - Nest thermostats The Details The Asher has three bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 8. There is a queen bedroom on the first floor with lake views, original art, and vintage furniture, a primary bedroom with memory foam king bed and gas-powered fireplace on the second floor, and a bunk room with two full-size bunk beds and sleeper sofa. Down comforters, linen duvet covers, plush bath towels, and custom black out window treatments give guests a hotel-like experience in the comfort of a well-decorated home. Upstairs, there is a large bathroom with walk in shower with dual rain-head shower heads and a free-standing soaking tub. Downstairs features another bathroom with walk in shower with Moroccan handmade tile and Kohler bathroom fixtures. The Asher has central heating and air conditioning and two gas-powered fireplaces that allow it to be a year-round retreat. Outdoor Amenities An outdoor patio off the house provides for additional dining and lounging along with a 8-person hot tub. There is a lakeside fire pit for evening gatherings and s'mores and two vintage teak lounge chairs for sunbathing by the lake. Respecting our Neighbors The Asher is located on a private lane street, which makes it feel secluded and quiet. In consideration of our neighbors, we ask that all guests agree to the following: - Strict prohibition on events or gatherings. - Quiet hours are prior to 7 am and after 9 pm on weekdays and after 10 pm on weekends. During quiet hours, we ask that guests please move all discussions inside and keep noise to moderate levels. - Strictly adhere to the street’s 15 mph speed limit. - No outside music speakers, fireworks, or movie projectors - To ensure a peaceful atmosphere for our guests and neighbors, we have noise monitors located inside and outside the house. The monitors did not record conversations but will signal if the noise levels reach above 75 dB (equivalent to a party atmosphere). If this occurs, we will send a note kindly asking guests to lower the noise. - Max limit of 4 cars at all times and cars must be parked in the driveway. No exceptions. Pet Policy We welcome one (1) dog per house with a non-refundable pet fee of $250 per stay. If a Guest brings a dog and does not inform Vose, a $1,000 pet fee will apply. A few important things to note: - Dogs must be leashed when outside at all times. - Dogs are NOT ALLOWED on furniture or guest beds at any time. Evidence of any pet hair/damage on the furniture or bedding will incur a $500 additional fee. - As responsible pet owners, Guests agree to accept full and complete responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the dog or suffered by any person during Guests’ stay at a Vose property. Guest access During your stay, guests have full access to the house, garage (along with a ping pong table), and large lawn.
