Leeward Cottage is a sweet Cape Cod style cottage with an open floor plan and a giant hand made farm table in the center of the house which has been host for countless wonderful meals, Scrabble tournaments, puzzles and craft projects. Overlooking Penobscot Bay's incredible beauty, the vista extends from Blue Hill to Camden. A short walk to access our private sand bar beach for shell treasure hunting, a quiet spot to skip rocks or a swim if you like the Maine ocean "refreshing" temperature.... The space Located on Dunham Point in between Deer Isle village and Sylvester’s Cove, Leeward has all the charm of a slower pace. Barbecue on the front deck with the catch the local fisherman brought in that afternoon. Put the kids in the claw foot tub after a long day of adventures. The hammock awaits the books you have been waiting to read or the nap you need. The smell of pine trees and salt air provide the sweet dreams.
