This home is owner-managed and gets regular inspections by the owner, so the details do not get overlooked! The house is fully electric with a high-efficiency geothermal HVAC and hot water system, recycling and uses green power. The property is private and unique. Located on a heavily wooded lot, there is plenty of nature to enjoy just outside the back door. The house is freshly updated from top to bottom (literally flooring to roofing!). It is super clean, bright, and well-appointed with just about anything you might need for your stay. The newly renovated kitchen is perfect for an avid cook. There's plenty of room to spread out on the quartz counters plus a quiet dishwasher, induction cooktop and air fryer oven. The living room is spacious, light-filled, and contemporary while still being cozy. There are three plush bedrooms, laundry, great yard, quality remote workspace, and more! Check in with the smart lock. Early check in and late check out may be an option if there is not a booking immediately before/after yours. Please feel free to ask. Guests have access to the entire home as well as the entire deck and fenced in yard area. Only the unfinished basement (storage area) is excluded. The house is near both Stevensville and Bridgman and about a 10 minute drive to downtown St. Joseph and Silver Beach. Each town offers great breweries, wine tasting rooms, and restaurants! The nearest public beach is about a 5-minute drive. Several wineries/vineyards are a short drive away. Grand Mere state park is about 2 miles away and Warren Dunes is about 8 miles away. There are also a Starbucks and a Meijer about 2 miles away. Generally, most people get around by car, but some do cycle. There are lovely places to bike, however, the road nearest to the house is fairly busy and does not have a designated bike lane or sidewalk. If you're wine tasting/beer crawling, there are several great car services in Harbor Country if you don't have a DD in the group! While it is not overwhelmingly loud, there are white noise machines provided in the bedrooms and earplugs available for light sleepers. There are not any accessories for children at the house and it is not childproofed in any way. Children are permitted but please know it is best suited for guests older than about 10. All the rooms are feather-free and use gentle, unscented laundry soap. The EV charger is available upon request from 11p to 6a for no charge. Unlimited access is $25/day. If you need access, please message me at least one day before arrival to get access set up for your vehicle.
