Tranquil Garden Retreat by the Beach

Welcome to our sunny slice of paradise by the beach! Your modern guest suite is nestled in a tranquil garden setting and has all of the comforts and privacy of home with private bathroom, kitchen, indoor and outdoor living areas and guest entry. The space This private, self-contained guest suite is attached to the main house but has its own private access. Plates, bowls, utensils, glassware, kettle, toaster, microwave and an induction cooktop is available for guest use. Shampoo, bodywash, liquid soaps and a hair dryer is provided in the private bathroom. Secure off-street parking is available. Guest access Situated in East Auckland, you will be staying within a 5 minute walk from two great beaches - Howick beach and Cockle Bay beach. You will have easy access to a Grocery store (2 mins drive) and Howick village with its great markets on Saturday mornings and many popular restaurants and cafés (3 mins drive). We are a 10 minute drive from the Ferry Terminal at Half Moon Bay Marina with ferries travelling to Auckland CBD and Waiheke Island. There is a bus stop a couple of minutes walk from the house if you do not have your own form of transport. Other things to note We are a Kiwi/French couple who have both travelled around NZ and the world. Our family has grown since we started hosting with Airbnb in 2018 and we now have a little 18 months old baby girl. This is the reason why we didn't host any guest in 2021 and early 2022, to focus on our family. We are ready to welcome you back and love to meet people from all walks of life.
