Shakespeare's Apple Tree Cottage is a peaceful cottage apartment on a south-facing hillside in Marlboro, VT with gardens and a fruit tree orchard and walking trails. We are 25 minutes to Mt Snow and 10 minutes to Marlboro XC trails. The Cottage is close to many charming galleries, coffee shops, breweries and a great Coop. We are minutes to the Marlboro Music festival that goes from July 15 - August 14th this year. We also have great summer hiking and bicycling trails. The space Turn left into the driveway at 47-A Levi Howard, park and walk to the lighted handrail to the outdoor deck and into the screen room. From there you get the key from the key box and enter the fully furnished kitchen, dining area and living room with large picture windows looking south over the gardens and lawn. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, dish washer, propane stove, and full array of cutlery and cooking gear. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Guest access You enter the apartment by walking along the 30 foot long gravel path with handrail to a three step open deck and then cross the deck to enter a light screen porch. Then you enter on the right to the kitchen, dining area and living room area with large picture windows looking south over the gardens and lawn. The stairs go up to the two bedrooms and the bathroom. Other things to note We charge no cleaning fee to save you money but we do ask that you clean up after your visit. Please follow the directions in the handbook. Not cleaning after you have left will result in a low rating review.
