The house is a spacious, comfortable, and convenient choice for a memorable stay in Washington, DC. This house provides the perfect space and amenities for any stay - from a family gathering to a weekend away with friends to a business traveler with a long-term visit. The space From the spacious living with a high ceiling to the exposed brick walls, there is a stylish mix of details and modern updates throughout. The large master bedroom has a King bed and an en suite bathroom. There are a total of 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a brand-new and comfortable mattress with fresh linens, Comforters, towels, washcloths, and all the other essentials you'd expect from a well-stocked home. The dining area has a huge dining table perfect for enjoying large gatherings or family. The house is located in the Eckington neighborhood of Washington, D.C. This residential neighborhood is home of some of the best DC's top restaurants and bars. The Union Kitchen, the Fish-King and the best pizza (Noma Pizza), is just around the corner from the house. DC's historic attractions (the White House and National Mall) are accessible with an easy metro or a quick 10-15 minute car ride. Entertainment: Alexa and smart TV with any app you could desire available, from Netflix, HBO, Showtime, and Youtube. Just login to your account to enjoy! But don't miss the enormous roof deck that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying DC and the private backyard and sitting area. Kitchen: Great kitchen stocked with plenty of dishes, cups, silverware, wine glasses, etc., for up to 14 place settings and assorted cooking supplies. In addition, the house boasts a Keurig Classic Coffee machine with free starter coffee pods, an electric tea kettle , a blender, a toaster, and a cooking book! Booking: We prefer a 2 night minimum for guests, however will happily consider special requests. We do not allow any large parties at the house and enforce guests maintain quiet hours after 12pm. Location: The house is located in the Eckington neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The closest metro is Noma-gallaudet U New York Ave, it's 1 miles from the house. There are also bus stops within 5 minute walking distance from the house. The metro station carry the yellow and green line trains running directly to Downtown DC, National Mall, Convention Center, Nat's Stadium, Reagan airport and more. The house is in an extremely walkable community with several restaurants, bars and convenience stores 1-2 blocks in every direction. Parking: The house is most easily accessible by metro and Uber/lift. But if you're traveling with your own vehicle, you can find street parking within walking distance in the nearby streets. Bathrooms: We provide fresh towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in each shower. Washing Machine: A large washing machine and dryer supplied with everything you need to wash and dry your clothes. Plus, there is an iron and ironing board in the master bedroom to make your clothes look perfect for any event. Guest access Guest access: Guests have access to the entire 3 level home, the back yard, and the roof deck. the lower unit in the building is a separate occupied unit. Other things to note PARKING: There is ample street parking available within a few blocks of the house, and regulations allow visitors to park on one side of the street during the weekends from 8:30PM Friday through 7AM Monday. However, over the week days, there is a two-hour limit for vehicles without a resident pass. HOUSE RULES: We strictly enforce these rules, and any violations will forfeit your security deposit and incur additional charges for any damage or cleaning required as a result. If you have any questions about them, please contact us. We are happy to clarify and respond quickly. NO SMOKING INSIDE: We do not allow any smoking of any kind inside the house. We do allow smoking on balconies and on the back patio, however smokers need to clean up after themselves. Any damage to furniture from embers will be taken from security deposit. NO PARTIES OR OUTSIDE GUESTS: We do not allow big parties at the house or allow outside guests (i.e those not staying at the property as part of your reservation). If you intend on hosting a gathering that is larger than your party size, please contact us for authorization. QUIET HOURS 8:00PM-9AM: You must keep noise to a minimum from 8:00 PM to 9:00 am. As a townhouse, the walls are shared with the neighbors, and there is a separate apartment in the basement. Noise can travel easily, and we are in regular communication with neighbors. We request guests be respectful of the neighbors and quiet hours. - NO PETS WITHOUT APPROVAL: We don't allow pets of any kind without prior approval, unless authorized service animals with proper documentation. If you would like to bring a pet, we may charge a separate fee and ensure they do not disturb the property or neighbors. This home is in the middle of the city so you can expect to hear some city sounds (e.g. the bus, cars, some sirens, garbage trucks, or a person on the street). We are not liable or responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay.
