Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. 'Mini Escape' is a cosy 27ft narrowboat, which has been newly refurbished. Providing accommodation for 2 people, this lovely little boat is perfect for couples looking for a romantic break in the countryside, that's a little bit quirky. The space The rear deck of the boat provides a spacious area for 2 people, with a couple of seats where you can sit and enjoy the view. Entering through the rear door, you step down into the luxurious walk-through bathroom which benefits from a full height shower, an electric flush Thetford cassette toilet and a table top sink, plus a couple of handy storage cupboards.  Walking through the door, you enter the galley kitchen which comes with a gas combi oven and grill with 3 hobs, as well as a good sized retro fridge and plenty of storage. The boat comes equipped with all crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment.  At the front of the boat is a bright and cosy lounge area, with a comfy reclining sofa, footstool and traditional log fire to keep you warm and cosy on those colder nights. As well as a LCD TV and DVD player, there is also a selection of games and DVDs provided. The sofa and footstool converts into a queen sized double bed at night, and storage is available in both the sofa, the footstool and the double cupboard at the front of the boat. All bedding is provided, but customers are asked to bring their own towels. The boat provides 12v and 240v power. Guest access Guests are hiring the entire boat to themselves. The boat is located in a private marina which has security gates access and some shared facilities (e.g. WiFi) with other marina residents. Other things to note - All bedding is provided, but guests are asked to bring their own towels. - Being a boat, the utilities will need to be managed by guests during their stay. This involves refilling the water tank and emptying the toilet cassettes. Facilities and equipment are available on site for all of this. - The boat is offered as static accommodation only and cannot be removed from the marina.
