Enjoy the fresh air and mountain view while you de-stress and get some exercise. Caretaker family living on the farm in separate space for 24 hour access and assistance. Very little interaction with guests, except for the caretaker who lives about a hundred meters from the campsite. He can be helpful to answer any questions (Spanish only). With prior arrangement directly with the caretaker, he can be your guide should you want to hike (about an hour) up to Selva Negra resort. Wake up to the sound of nature: birds chirping and wind swishing around your tent. Short duration drizzles and some fog are commonplace. Coffee harvest period is October to January, citrus-aroma coffee blooms in January and March. We can always use help during the harvest (good photo op). Neighboring Selva Negra mountain resort. There is public transportation from Managua to Matagalpa, mini buses (known as rapi-bus) available from Matagalpa to entrance of unpaved road. Then a 4km hike up to farm. This campsite rental is meant for the experienced camper. It's expected that the guest brings their camping gear and is experienced camping in the woods. I can provide a 2-person tent for an additional charge (tent only). The camping experience that I offer is to be totally in touch with nature . The gazebo is a basic amenity that will keep you dry in case of the frequent rain shower. I'm here to help you in any way to make your stay a memorable one.
