Private wilderness area for your exclusive usage

Easy access of the tar road between Greytown and Weenen. We are an exclusive wilderness area in the heart of Bushman’s River Valley. The dense thorn veld varies in density due to altitude and terrain. You will have access to 2600ha with Bushmans River frontage including the 30m waterfall. This is also prime fishing habitat for yellow fish and carp on fly and other baits. The space The accommodation is suited to nature lovers and people who appreciate privacy and space but rustic and hot in the summer months. There are areas to picnic and appreciate the views on a self-drive game view as well as walk as a family to watering points. A rustic style stone building has four bedrooms, with two single beds in each room with a shower and toilet on suite. We are off the grid and there is no electricity. Limited battery operated lights avilable during the night. Cell phone signal at the camp but intermitted throughout the reserve. The kitchen has a gas fridge and stove as well as a range of basic utensils. Winter Lodge is suitable for cyclist, runners, walkers and family groups. No drinking water, please bring your own. Bedding will be provided but please bring your own towel. 4x4 would be recommended for many of the internal roads, however not required to reach accommodation.
