Relax and rejuvenate your spirit in this uniquely designed home, situated under a canopy of sprawling oaks. It has incredible panoramic views of Mt. Diablo and the surrounding valley, and multiple areas to relax. Hang out on the deck with a glass of wine, take a dip in the refreshing salt-water pool, or just melt away in our therapeutic cave spa. Centrally located in the East Bay just minutes from Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Berkeley and ~35 minutes from San Fran. The space This property makes you feel like you're getting away from it all, while at the same time it's just minutes away from 5-star restaurants, entertainment, and major freeways. It's located in a very quiet neighborhood, surrounded by giant oak trees and amazing views. There is hiking trail access via winding stairs located at the bottom of the property. The home's unique architecture is filled with warm wood finishes throughout, soaring ceilings, and natural stone masonry, which all complement the natural beauty of the area. The pool area is quite unique and offers a very natural landscape where guests can swim from the pool, go under the waterfall and climb into the cave spa. The salt-water pool is intended to provide a perfect thermal experience as guests heat up in the spa and cool down by dipping in the pool and then repeating the cycle. The kitchen is perfect for creating culinary experiences with a 6-burner gas range and double convection oven to cook up the perfect meal, and enjoy it with friends and family around the 7 foot island that can seat 8 people. The sliding glass doors off the kitchen provide access to the pool deck and the gas grill. The living room has three French doors that look out onto the deck, which is perfect for outdoor dining in the warmer months. The upstairs loft is said to be everyone's favorite refuge with a bird’s eye view of the surrounding hills. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated and has luxury linens. Two of the bathrooms have extra-large showers with rock walls giving the feeling of a tropical outdoor shower. Both of these showers have just been remodeled with European pebble and textured tile. A laundry room in the guest bathroom is available, with detergent included, for your use. Guest access All parts of home are available, except for a few closets and cupboards, and the garage. There is plenty of outdoor parking on the property in our upper and lower parking areas. Five minutes to Lafayette Bart and Walnut Creek, 20min to Berkeley and ~35mins to S.F. Please read directions carefully, as the turn-off to brown ave. is a bit confusing. Please note there is a ½ mile of narrow windy private road to get to the house, which brings you to the amazing views! Please drive carefully. Other things to note ** Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and July 4th require a 4 night minimum. No pets allowed, will be charge $300 per day if discovered. Service animals are welcome but are not allowed on furniture or beds. If bringing a service animal, please clarify if the service animal is required because of a disability, and what work or task has the animal been trained to perform. No climbing on pool area rocks, they are decorative only. Pool is not gated, so children must be supervised. Spa can be heated for free up to 5 hours per day (not including heating time). Pool can be heated for an extra charge, seasonally calculated upon request. Fireplace can be used for an extra charge.
