Inside the Castle of Murlo, a small medieval village, our charming apartment is for rent. Recently renovated and family-run, it is divided into two floors: On the ground floor, there is the kitchen-living room, large double bedroom and sofa bed with private bathroom. Upstairs are two more double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Public parking is located outside the castle walls. The space "Apartment il Castello" is an old house located within the medieval village of Murlo, a castle dating back to 1100 located on a small hill overlooking the Sienese hills and only 25 km south of Siena. It has 3 bedrooms with three bathrooms and an equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, electric coffee machine or moka coffee maker, kettle, dishes, cooking utensils, washing machine). The house is located in the central square of the small village. Murlo has Etruscan origins and its history begins in the 7th century BC, in fact , you can admire in the Etruscan Museum all the departments found in the hill in front of the village and that today represent daily life and strange statues that have become the symbol of Murlo. A short distance away is Pienza, Montalcino, the Crete Senesi area. Siena is 25 km away, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni are also within walking distance. In the area of the Val di Merse do not miss the visit to the Abbey of San Galgano and the sword in the rock! If you want to relax and take a thermal bath, a short distance away there are the Bagni di Petriolo, completely immersed in nature, or Bagni di San Filippo, also immersed in nature and located at the foot of Monte Amiata (about 1 hour away from Murlo).
