Private room in house is located just 5 minutes from M1 JCT 31, and the start of the M18. Located at the edge of the mining village of Kiveton Park, with stunning community woodlands which are right on the doorstep. The house is located on the main route through the village, so is sometimes busy. There is a shared bathroom, and shared kitchen space. You have your own dedicated workspace in the room, with excellent WiFi. My 3 children may be present during your stay, though not all the time. The space The house is a large semi-detached property with a large garden to the rear. You will have access to Dining Area, Kitchen, Garden & Shared Bathroom. You enter the house from a driveway which is on a steep hill. (please mention this in your booking if you think this may be a problem for you.) As you enter there is a hallway and stairs leading to the shared bathroom. Your bedroom is to the right immediately as you enter the property. In your room you will find a double wardrobe, mirror, Super King bed with memory foam mattress, 42" Smart TV with Chromecast, WiFi Pod, Clothes horse, and large windows to the front of the property. We have subscriptions to: NOW & Amazon Prime. You will have access to bedding, towels, coffee / tea making facilities, hairdryer, and straightener. If you wish to avail yourself of basic light breakfast, please let the host know prior to your stay and she will show you where to find it. At the end of the hallway is the way to the Kitchen diner which has a door to the garden / patio space. There is an expandable table, with benches and seats in the beautiful south facing light. The kitchen is down 2 steps off this space and in need of modernisation, with some drawers that are a bit tricky to open. It is kept clean and has a wonderful large cooker with 2 ovens and 6 burners, including a wok burner. There will be space in the fridge for you to use during your stay, but I cannot guarantee space in the freezer. There is a dishwasher too. You are welcome to use these facilities during your stay and we ask that you wash up after yourself as you go. The shared bathroom is beautifully appointed with a powerful shower in the separate shower unit, there is also a bath with a shower in it too. From the kitchen diner area there is a door to the patio and slim steps down to the garden. There is a gate to put across from the patio to the stairs if you need to. The garden is a family space with some beautiful specimen trees and plants surrounding a lawn, with a wildlife area and pond at the far end. There is also a kids climbing frame and trampoline. Guest access Private bedroom, shared bathroom, Kitchen diner and garden. Your bedroom will be kept private with your own lock on your door. During your stay I am happy to follow your lead and chat if that's what you would prefer, or leave you to do your own thing. If there is an urgent need for me during your stay, it is best to text me on the number I can provide. Other things to note The house is our family home, and as such the communal spaces will not always be clean and tidy. I do my best, but it is not always possible to be on top of my kids all the time! Your understanding of this when you book and stay is appreciated. I have 3 kids who are sometimes with us, and may be here during your stay. If this may be a problem for you, please check with me and I can let you know if they are going to be there during your proposed booking.
