About 30 minutes from Downtown Nashville, this guest suite is actually a small apartment (3 rooms) that occupies half of my home, which I live in. You will enjoy gorgeous views of the valley and stars at night for a peaceful getaway. You have a private entrance, private deck, charcoal & electric grills, and your own fire pit. PLEASE NOTE: This is a pet-friendly property. I have dogs and cats living here. If you don't love pets or are allergic, please consider another place for your stay. The space The guest suite is the other half of my home. Yes, I live here. The AirBnb is about 650 square feet and has a separate entrance and interior walls that separate your space from mine. It's listed as a "room" because guests sometimes think they are staying in the whole home vs. half of it. The guest suite includes a fully furnished bedroom with queen-size bed, your own full bathroom with tub, a small living room with a single-size futon, plus a kitchenette and all the essentials you'd need for cooking, and a beautifully gated 10'x16' private deck. The suite is located 25 miles (about 30-35 minutes) to Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville! It's the perfect distance to experience the fun and excitement of downtown, then escape to the quiet countryside. And if you love the outdoors, you’ll especially love it here with an abundance of hiking trails nearby. Cheatham Dam and Cheatham Wildlife Management Area are just minutes from here; the Harpeth River and Tip-a-Canoe recreation areas are a beautiful, 30-minute drive away. There are also numerous wedding venues close by for your convenience. Guest access You will have access to the guest side (left side) of the house via a private entrance and self-check-in. One parking spot in the driveway is reserved for you free of charge. And if you want to bring your boat, great! You can park it and your vehicle across my yard (diagonally), as many guests have done! Just please let me know. Reminder: As previously mentioned, this is my home and I live on the other side. Our spaces are totally separated by an interior door that locks from my side and yours for optimal privacy and safety. You may occasionally hear my TV or microwave or my dogs barking or bickering, but I make every effort to keep them and myself quiet while guests are here. Other things to note A few other important details to note: * Sorry to have to repeat this again but I've recently had issues with guests not reading "the fine print." **This is a pet-friendly property! I welcome your pets with the appropriate additional fee. My dogs and cats live here too. I have two large fenced-in areas. The yard directly behind my home is off-limits to guests and pups, as my pets use it. I make the other area available to pet parents if other pets are not here. If you are allergic to pets, don't love, or even like pets, please kindly consider another place for your stay. *As noted above, if you choose here and want to bring your fur babies, that's awesome! There is a $50 fee per pet, per stay charge. Max of two (2) pets per reservation. Please be accurate with your pet count.
