Recently remodeled 1 bedroom garden apartment with a fun aesthetic in hip Logan Square. Walking distance to top bars, restaurants and coffee shops such as Sugarmoon, Park & Field, Best Intentions, Lou Malnatis, Damn Fine Coffee Bar and many more. Blocks from the 606 Trail, 90/94 & public transportation. Lovely shared front yard landscaped with florals + garden beds. We will pass along a welcome guide with a list of all our favorite places in the neighborhood! The space All basic amenities are included; extremely clean and comfortable queen bed with memory foam mattress. The living room has a couch that folds down into a double bed and we have a 2" thick memory foam mattress topper to place on top. There is an additional twin air mattress and plenty of extra linens. There is an eat in galley kitchen with a dining table for 2, fully equipped with all the necessities (cookware, dishes, cutlery, etc.). We even have some basic spices and cooking oils! Appliances include a full size fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The only things missing are your favorite farmer’s market finds! The apartment includes one full bathroom with plenty of towels. We provide a blow dryer, makeup wipes, body wash and Aveda shampoo & conditioner! There is an extra vanity area for getting ready since the bathroom is small. There are 2 flat screen TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Both have Amazon fire sticks. You are able to use our Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts too! Parking is free on the street where the house is located as well as all the surrounding blocks. We will provide a parking map to ensure you know where it’s safe to park :) Parking is very easy to find, the only exception is when there is a heavy snow or street cleaning 1x/month. If you'd like us to set up the couch bed and/or the air mattress, please let us know and we are happy to do so. If not, you are also welcome to set it up yourself. The kitchen table doubles well as a desk/workspace should you need to work during your stay. We even have a comfy office chair if needed! Guest access During your stay, the whole apartment is yours and only yours. There is a front and rear entrance/exit and we provide a door code for keyless access. Other things to note This is a basement unit and there is an area of the living room where the ceiling is a bit low. If you are taller than 6'0" please shoot us a note before booking. While the accommodations are private, the building is also home to two other apartments. As is the case with most apartment buildings in Chicago, you will hear the neighbors or their dog walking around and talking in the apartment above you. It's nothing constant or overwhelming, but just something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to noise. We provide earplugs should you need them! The other tenants in the building are sweethearts who are more than willing to stop an activity should it be disrupting you. Just message us on the app and we will kindly communicate. There is a dog (Rufio!) that lives in one of the other apartments & may be in the front yard the same time as you walking to/from your front door. He is very friendly & loves to say hi! Just something to note incase anyone is scared of dogs. There is also a very friendly cat that hangs in the front yard named Toro. Please don't let her out! :) Please note that check-in is at 3 PM & check out is at 11am.
