Nestled on a lush hillside in El Cajon, Birdie’s Hillside Hideaway is a serene 175-square-foot studio perfect for two guests. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises, peaceful garden views, and the hummingbirds and butterflies that visit daily. The property is surrounded by scenic hiking trails just minutes away, offering a tranquil retreat close to nature. The space Birdie Hillside Hideaway is tucked away on a lush east county hillside. This darling, 175-square-foot studio has just been completely redesigned with modern, stylish décor focusing on comfort and fun in the sun! It’s the perfect spot for two people and a pup! Birdie’s Hillside Hideaway has a very comfy, a cozy daybed that doubles as a comfortable seating area and a small dining or work area. Relax in bed or on the sofa while you watch shows on the Smart TV. The kitchen area is equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, and pod coffee maker. We do not have a stove or an oven. We provide a smaller 4.5 cubic feet fridge to save space and there is no dishwasher, but we provide hand soap, dish soap, and drying rack for your convenience. The space features a private, compact bathroom featuring a shower, toilet, and modern hand-washing station. The full-sized bed area offers a brand-new, ultra-comfortable mattress. We provide a shared washer and dryer in a shed only steps away from Birdie's Bungalow! For stays 28 days and over, the cleaning fee will be doubled. Outside of your front door, you will enjoy incredible views of the El Cajon mountains and witness the most beautiful sunrises. This tiny house is located approximately 50 feet away from the main residence on a 1/2 acre property. We also have two other vacation rentals on the property that are down the hill and approximately 100 feet away from Birdie. We welcome one well-behaved pooch, but please no cats or other animals. Just let us know you are bringing a dog so we can make sure to set out the water and food bowl. Guest access The property is meticulously maintained, and the interior is professionally cleaned, disinfected, sanitized, and checked before each guest. Self-check-in is easy, and management is quickly accessible and available for questions and recommendations. We provide a welcome book for you which should answer most of your other questions. Check-in and check-out are simple; an email will be sent a few days before your arrival with detailed instructions. There is ample street parking is conveniently located near the property. Unfortunately, due to high demand, turnover, and our standard of cleanliness, we are unable to provide late check-out. We are a 25-minute drive from San Diego International Airport and Sea World, 25 minutes from Downtown San Diego, and the San Diego Zoo.
