Cosy cottage, 150m to private jetty. Option to hire the floating sauna with roof terrace and lounge area for an additional fee. Short trips on the lake can also be arranged (weather dependent). Activities available by request: fishing, paddle board, water skiing, kayaking, sailing. The cottage is set in Rävsta nature reserve, 4km from historic town of Sigtuna, easily reached by bicycle or short walk. The airport is conveniently only 20 mins and Stockholm City, 40 mins. The space This cosy cottage is perfect for every season, whether you want to curl up with a good book in front of the fire, experience an ice dip after a sweat in the sauna, or just enjoy the blissful Swedish summer nature by the lake or in the woods. Activities available; - Fishing (no equipment provided) - Stand-up paddle - Kayaking - Water skiing (booking only €100 / 30 mins) - Open-sea swimming - Badminton The cottage has an open plan living area centred around a log burning fire. The lounge has a large, comfy sofa which expands to a full size bed which easily sleeps two adults. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a selection of dining areas to suit the weather. There is a large dining table in the main room, or you have the option to dine in the glassed veranda or on the private veranda, depending on the season....... or your character :). The veranda also offers additional lounge seating and is perfect place to unwind and enjoy the view and tranquility, but remember, this space is not heated, so its use is seasonal. Beds: There is a small bedroom, with double bed (140cm wide) The living room sofa converts to a large, comfortable double bed. Bathroom: The bathroom has a shower and heated floor. Guest access Hosts Dawn & Joakim live in the neighbouring property and fully respect the privacy of our guests, but we are only a stone-throw away if you need any tips or help. Other things to note The floating lounge, with roof-terrace and wood burning sauna is available for guests to hire at an extra cost. €100 / 1000sek for half a day, which includes wood for the sauna and extra towels. If you would like to hire the sauna for a full day, please enquire separately. In the winter months, we will even cut a hole in the ice for you to take a dip! There is also the possibility to hire paddle board, kayak or laser sailing boat. Please enquire in advance.
