The “Le Champ’être” cottage is nestled in a small green oasis surrounded by mountains, between forest and fields. Just 10 minutes by car from Gap’s town center and all its amenities, you’ll enjoy a peaceful, natural setting that feels far from the hustle and bustle — yet close to everything. Whether you’re looking to unwind or enjoy outdoor adventures, our cottage offers the perfect environment to reconnect with nature and experience the calm of the Hautes-Alpes. The space 🏠 The accommodation The gîte is adjoining our home but completely independent: you are on the east side, we are on the west side, with no direct view between us. You have your own private entrance, dedicated parking, and a private terrace. The spacious terrace invites you to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the forest and mountains. In the evening, you can admire a magnificent starry sky, as there are no other houses nearby. Our accommodation is new, carefully furnished, and designed for your comfort. It’s a very pleasant place for a peaceful stay with family or friends. Guest access From the main road, a 2 km dirt track leads you to the cottage, right in the heart of nature, surrounded by fields and forest. In winter, the path is cleared quickly after snowfall, ensuring easy access. Other things to note 🛌 Bedrooms : The gîte includes 3 bedrooms: - 1 bedroom with two single beds - 2 bedrooms that can be arranged with either a double bed or two single beds (please let us know your preference when booking) 🌡️ Comfort There is no air conditioning, but the gîte is equipped with reversible underfloor heating, which provides a gentle cooling effect during hot weather. 🥕 Our little extras As market gardeners, we offer from May to December: ➡️ Organic vegetable baskets, available for pre‑order or directly on site. Additional services available: - Possibility to charge an electric car (fee applies on site) - Childcare and pet sitting at the gîte or at our home, depending on your preference and our availability. - We welcome small dogs (up to 30 kg) under certain conditions: They must get along with our 3 cats (No fenced area yet, but we hope to have one soon). 🧹 Good to know : We do not charge a cleaning fee. ➡️ We kindly ask guests to leave the gîte clean when they depart. If this is not the case, a €50 cleaning fee will be applied.
