Description
We are centrally located between Ithaca (9miles), Trumansburg (7miles),Watkins Glen(15 miles),and Lake Seneca wine country (12 miles) . A perfect location to stay while wanting to explore the figerlakes or simply get away from the everyday hustle. The land is surrounded by meadows and wildlife. Enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to the birds sing and nature speak. The space is located near a 2 acre pond, which brings in many beautiful animals from Blue Heron, Ducks,Frogs,Turtles, and more. The space Please Note: We are an operating farm, we work sun up until sun down. Mowing, weed whacking, construction, and more all takes place on this property. You may hear such noise on any given day- if that’s bothersome please consider booking elsewhere. Here at eagle breeze homestead We aim to create a space that is family and animal friendly, as well as being affordable. Our dogs tend to wander the land at times, if they become bothersome please let us know. You too are welcomed to bring your four legged friends, just know there are multiple structures people can rent on this property and they too may have their doggos with them. If the dogs aren’t friendly with other mates please keep them leashed if they tend to want to wander. we no longer provide bedding, towels,or wash clothes this means BRING YOUR OWN, you will need to bring your own sheets or sleeping bags, pillow cases, etc. We made this decision after hosting continually for 3 years and having to do back to back change overs. The amount of wash with our sensitive septic no longer felt sustainable. Thanks for being understanding. The size of the bed is a QUEEN PLEASE NOTE: this is a private space, however The kitchen , Porta Potties, and Outdoor Showers are located in shared areas on the property. This is a 16” lotus bell tent with a full size sleeping space. All utensils, dinnerware, and cookware is provided in the space ,but please tend with care- wash and put away please!!! You have a mini fridge inside the tent, but the sink, stove, and coffee maker are in the Main shared kitchen area that is located about 40feet away from the tent. We have everything color coded for organizational purposes. The Lotus Bell is purple , pleas put all the purple dishware back in the tent after using. There are two porta potties about 30feet away from the lotus bell that are for your use. There are two outdoor showers that are located directly behind the main outdoor kitchen area. There is a propane hot water on demand located in the Main outdoor kitchen area, which provides warm water to both the shower and sinks. Please note, this is a rustic homestead like experience which offers a sort of glamping type experience, but is just one step above camping. Please be properly prepared before booking. There is electric and lights through out the Lotus Bell Tent, however please be conscious of the energy consumption-together we can help this planet! There is NO heating source, please keep this in mind while booking and packing. Our days can be hot and our nights chilly,so warm clothes and cozy blankets are key! There is an outdoor fire pit that you are welcomed to enjoy, but please provide your own wood. The pond is beautiful, but please do not enter, we are not liable for your safety. Though we have done our best to make this space as private as can be please be aware that it is about 300feet away from the main house, 30feetfeet away from the outdoor kitchen area that our family occasionally uses and other guests staying in other structures may be using, and you may very well hear other guests and will likely see us putting around the land working away. It’s an extremely unique place to stay, many people say it’s pure magic! However if you are looking for a quiet private cabin in the woods, this isn’t it. Guest access Feel free to wander the land, but please do not go past the wooden fence area, this is the hosts private space. Thank you
