Easy 8-mile drive to Beaver Stadium & PSU, and less than 5 mins to downtown Bellefonte. Enjoy strolls through the back acre of what used to be yard, but is now a walkable wildflower meadow. The space The property is located on the edge of a residential area. Main level of the barn includes living space & kitchen. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The property includes a farmhouse (1800s build currently being restored), the barn, a Morton building garage, and an expansive yard, including a walkable wildflower meadow. Guest access Guests may access the entire converted barn and the entire yard and meadow. Some cupboards and drawers in the bathroom and kitchen will be locked, as they store personal items. Yard and meadow are common areas. Other things to note We have taken great care to preserve many original features of the barn. It is welcoming, comfortable, and live-able. It is also old, so please avoid WWE Smackdown levels of horseplay, especially upstairs. Restoration is ongoing on the property, and some rustic aesthetic features will remain as of your stay (primed but unpainted exposed wood, inexact switch plate cover sizes, etc.) Please note that all spaces are comfortably appointed, but cosmetic trim work may be incomplete. Our property is a Certified Wildlife Habitat, and we prioritize being ecologically friendly. Throughout your stay, you may encounter wildlife including insects, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and even hear occasional coyotes.
