Based in Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye, we are excellently situated for exploring both Skye and the nearby Scottish mainland. Kyleakin is on the shores of Loch Alsh, with the iconic Skye Bridge (and magnificent sunsets) to your left. To your right, views past the 15th Century Castle Moil, looking down Loch Alsh to the rugged Hills of Kintail, (with beautiful sunrises!) We have a lovely garden surrounding the property. The space We have: - 2 bedrooms (one double, one king) - A bathroom with a great shower. - A living room with a smart TV, Freesat, lots of books, jigsaw puzzles and games. There are lots of maps and guidebooks to give you plenty of ideas of where to go and what to see. - The Freesat box and smart TV allow you to record, pause and rewind programmes and you can watch BBC/ITV/UKTV/5 on demand for free. If you have your own account, you can also sign in and watch Netflix and Prime. - A fully equipped kitchen with: - washing machine - tumble dryer - dishwasher - small fridge freezer - induction hob - electric fan oven - microwave oven - kettle - toaster - cafetiere/French press. - There is also a dining table and four chairs in the kitchen. - We will provide a pint of milk, some tea and herbal teabags, instant coffee, ground coffee and sugar. There is also olive oil, dish soap as well as some tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine. - All cutlery, utensils, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, chopping boards and knives are provided and will be washed in the dishwasher after every guest stay. Guest access You will have access through your own entrance to the annex, with parking right outside your door. There are 2 steps to get into the property, after that it is all on one level. You are welcome to enjoy our beautiful garden. A walk down the drive will take you to the road that runs through Kyleakin with a choice of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Other things to note Views from your accommodation are limited but a short walk to the road will have you getting your camera out, guaranteed! If you come in winter, bear in mind the daylight hours are shorter and there are fewer local amenities open, but Skye is still as beautiful and you'll see a quiet side of the island that many visitors don't get to see.
