Our Victorian home nestled in the Rose Place Historic District, a quiet, intimate private court street, just four blocks to the downtown district. A warm abode with natural pine flooring & woodwork. Heirloom antiques, local artwork. Fully equipped kitchen, private brick patio dining area. Claw foot soaking tub. Work station. Yoga space. Conveniently walk-able to cultural treasures, Bronson Hospital, colleges, farmers market, local cuisine, craft beer, coffee shops in historic Vine Neighborhood. The space This was our very first, extensive historic preservation project 28 years ago. We have committed to 3 decades of restoring a little pocket of historic homes side by side on a little cul~de~sac in downtown. Two city street enhancement projects have transformed these contiguous unique properties. Common green spaces connect and draw neighbors together to share in community gardening, social hours and relaxation in the various private, landscaped court yards. All connected by recycled brick paver walkways, perennial and native plant gardens. Our 1890's Queen Anne Victorian home is a romantic walk back in time with modern updates throughout. Workstations and wifi create a comfortable alternative remote working environment. The home has appeared on several downtown historic homes tours and has both national and state historic register designation. Guest access Parking, private patio, backyard common space patio, picnic table, entire interior of the home. Out door covered grill space. Shared bike shed. Other things to note This home is not pet friendly nor do we allow parties nor entertaining at the property. The homes are nestled close together which adds to the charm however we ask that our guests always respect their neighbors and are quiet and respectful of others while living in and enjoying our properties. There is no smoking anywhere on all Rose Place Properties. Only one designated zone is for grilling under the outdoor kitchen shelter and use of our fire pit is also designated to one location only~ the large open common green space. Personal grills or fire pits not allowed on our property. No candles nor lawn torches allowed on Rose Place Properties.
