Old Mill Farm~Off-Grid Camping on the Clearing

Discover the gorgeous, tranquil landscape that surrounds the clearing where you can pitch your tent, park your trailer or sleep under the stars. *Please note access to this site requires a higher vehicle/trailer clearance(truck, large SUV etc). You can hike into it or when available we can drive you up. With trails, forests, brooks and rivers there is so much to explore. Camping equipment may be rented when available if you do not have your own. Please reach out for additional costs. The space We have a clearing about a half km into the forest from the farmhouse. Accessed by going along an old logging road, It can be walked to, or driven to using a higher, bigger vehicle like a truck, larger SUV, not accessible with low riding vehicles. We can also drive you up to it if you are not able to walk or drive. With 120 acres of forest, farm and river areas it is yours to explore. This is a dry site. You can fill up water from our house well. A portable toilet is available to use upon request. Guest access You will be able to hike all the trails, take a wander through the forests, swim in the river and visit the farm animals if you wish. Other things to note The price per night is strictly for the spot to camp. You are welcome to bring your tenting equipment or should you have a Camping trailer/RV you can tow it to the site if you have a truck/larger SUV. Low riding vehicles would not be able to clear some of the dips in the logging road. If you wish to use our camping equipment please reach out and we can alter your reservation cost to reflect the rental. We do not charge a cleaning fee for the use of the site but we expect all garbage to be removed the site left as found. Leave no trace.
