The Hideaway

At The Hideaway, you’ll enjoy a separate entrance to the basement suite. It boasts a king size bed, 2 chaise lounges, a writing desk, large TV, walk in shower, and hotel like amenities. While there’s not a full kitchen, you do have access to a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Please note, you will hear noise from upstairs as we do not have it sound proof just yet! Whatever brings you to Carbondale, know you can always stop here for a rest at The Hideaway! The space As you enter through the side door (Door B) of the home, there’s a set of stairs down to your own little bunker. It’s one big open room with bedroom, living room, kitchenette, study, and separate bathroom. Guest access Basement guests are asked to park on the street in front of the white house. Walk up the driveway (sometimes you have to walk around a vehicle) to access the single side door (labeled B) on the left side of our brown house. There’s a keypad on the door itself, not the lockbox on the siding. You’ll have access to the finished basement. During your stay You probably won’t see us, but we’re only a message away! We’re known for answering very quickly :) Other things to note Please be mindful when booking that there is a potential for noise from the upstairs guests. You’ll likely hear footsteps and muffled talking. As stated in the rules, no smoking of any kind. Due to the stair entrance to the space, this is not a handicap accessible stay. We have two outdoor security cameras, one above the door to the main part of the house that watches the main entrance, some of the yard and driveway, and another in front of the enclosed garage that watches the door to the hideaway and the rest of the driveway.
