Villa Amena is the ideal home for those who love large and quiet spaces close to the city. The beautiful terrace and surrounding garden allow moments of relaxation even in the open air. The interiors are cozy and cared for in detail. The villa is equipped with air conditioning, heat pumps, free Wi-Fi, TV, CD player and mosquito nets. As you may have noticed in the available services, there is no washing machine, but a short distance from us there is a self-service laundry that is always open and inexpensive. The space - THE VILLA - Framed by magnolias, pines and flowers, Villa Amena accommodates up to 4 people. The villa is independent and uninhabited. The upper portion of the house is for guests, with two bedrooms, one double and one with 2 single beds; 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower; a large living room; a cozy dining room and a kitchenette; a large terrace and a colorful garden that refreshes the view. - PARKING - Parking is guaranteed and free. - ROOMS AND AMENITIES - Each room is full of objects and utensils that can help make you feel "at home" KITCHENETTE: well equipped, with oven and stove, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee maker, scale, pots, oven pans, cutlery, salad bowls, plates, glasses, cups, mugs and much more. There are: liquid soap, dishwashing liquid, rubber gloves, sponges of various kinds. There is no shortage of: extra virgin olive oil, salt, sugar, coffee and other pleasant surprises. The tap water is drinkable, controlled and allows you to avoid using plastic bottles. DINING ROOM: It has an extendable table with 4 chairs and 2 armchairs. There are tablecloths, placemats, towels, paper towels, etc. and you can cheer yourself up thanks to a portable stereo with CD player and radio. LIVING ROOM: a comfortable 3-seater sofa and 4 armchairs allow you to watch TV or read books and maps of the city and its surroundings in the room. BEDROOMS: Sheets are included and you will also find some linens at your disposal if needed. In the closets there are hangers for coats, pants and skirts. If you need to polish your shoes, there are special brushes with shoe polish. BATHROOMS: equipped with a set of towels, shower/tub mats, toilet paper, household detergents, combs, liquid soap, shower bath, shampoo, hairdryer and more. There is also a first aid kit with cotton wool, disinfectant, gauze, and band-aids. TERRACE AND GARDEN: Sitting on a comfortable rocking chair, you can enjoy the quiet of the place and the view of the garden. On the terrace, a table with 4 chairs also allows you to eat. Other things to note CHECK-IN: in general, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., but it is preferable to contact the owners and agree with them on the arrival time at least 2 days in advance. CHECK-OUT: by 10 a.m. EARLY CHECK-IN, LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT upon request and based on availability; may incur an additional charge of €15 - TOURIST TAX – not required. - EVENTS NOT TO BE MISSED IN MANTUA - The FESTIVALETTERATURA in the first half of September attracts authors and artists from all over the world, as does the “SEGNI DI INFANZIA” Festival between the end of October and the beginning of November. The Chamber music festival "TRAME SONORE" in May is very prestigious. Among the many other opportunities are the OPEN Festival Mantua - Urban Theater, the Nouveau Cirque in June and the Mantua Film Fest in the second half of August. - SERVICES - The owner of the Villa is an accredited tour guide and, by prior arrangement, can guide you in Italian or English to discover the city's main monuments.
