Completely renovated and nestled in between Depot Town and the EMU campus, this 2-bedroom walkout basement apartment drops you at the perfect location to explore Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, and the rest of beautiful Washtenaw County. Some basics about the space: - 4 p.m. check-in via a digital deadbolt, which will allow access whenever you arrive. 11 a.m. check-out. *Unfortunately, due to our cleaner's tight schedule, we are unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out!* - This is a private unit that is located in a larger, multi-unit home. There are no shared spaces, but you may hear light noise as the other tenants walk throughout the house. - Pets are allowed! We do ask that you please pick up after your pet and acknowledge the $25 pet fee. If you have a 'talkative' pet, we just ask that you are mindful of the tenants in the units adjacent to the space. - Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. You will have full access to the space through a private entrance off of Huron street. I’m a resident of Ypsilanti, and live about 5 minutes away from the space. I like to give guests space, but my cohosts and I are always available if needed! Ypsilanti is a bustling, diverse, growing college town conveniently located just 20 minutes east of Ann Arbor and about 40 minutes west of Detroit. In addition to its neighbors, Ypsilanti hosts its own unique selection of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. It also boasts wonderful scenery, with the Huron River winding right through Riverside Park. This space offers the prime opportunity to walk anywhere in Ypsilanti. From the intersection of Huron and Forest, you can walk to Eastern Michigan University's renowned campus in five minutes. By walking east, you can access the unique variety of bars and restaurants in Ypsilanti's historic Depot Town. And just south of the space is Downtown Ypsilanti, complete with restaurants, farmer's market, and a public library. And if you have a car, you’re in the most accessible location in southeastern Michigan- hop on I-94 in just 5 minutes! Drive to Ann Arbor in 15 minutes, Detroit Metro Airport in 15 minutes, and Downtown Detroit in under 45 minutes. If neither walking nor car is your style, then you can walk a couple blocks to the Ypsilanti Transit Center. The bus routes will take you most anywhere in Washtenaw County, including downtown Ann Arbor. Please note: this is a basement unit, and has two low ceiling points! We have guarded these points with safety foam and reflective tape, but guests (especially taller guests) should take care to avoid these low points. The lowest clearing is in the hallway leading to the bathroom. Since this is a basement unit, it generally stays cool even in the summer heat- but there are fans for you to use if needed. There is central heat for the colder months! There is free street parking on both Huron and Washington streets, which is usually plentiful!
