Cottage is located in the Town of Prattsville, NY, Greene County, about 3 hours from New York City. Prattsville is a small, historic town (about 650 residents) in the northwest part of the county, located on the Catskill Mountaintop where Greene, Delaware and Schoharie Counties meet above the Schoharie Valley. Situated on a small dead-end side street. There are houses and neighbors near the cottage as you would see in any other town. Cottage is NOT "in the woods", but in walking distance from Main Street. Inside the cabin: two bedrooms, kitchen with dining area, small living room and a bathroom. What's included: first bedroom, kitchen with dining area, small living room and a bathroom. Yard with two porches and outdoor grill. Bedroom with blue walls has a queen and single bed (sleeps up to 3 people). No other sleeping arrangement is available, or allowed. 2nd bedroom with brown walls also has a queen and a twin/single bed (sleeps 3 people). NOTE: No additional guests are allowed in the cottage, other than the guests that booked, at any time. Living room has a TV with basic Cable TV Programming. Wireless High Speed Internet connection is available and Roku. Kitchen plus dining area includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, basic pots and pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, coffee maker. NOTE: Please be aware that the stove top works but not the oven in the kitchen. There is no toaster guests are not allowed to bring any electronic cooking devices due to past problems. Also NOTE: Guests are NOT allowed to use the wood stove per insurance policy and house rules, no exceptions. Outside the cottage Guests are welcome to use the grill and relax on chairs by the table. It is to make sure there's no damage, no smoking inside, place is left in neat condition and check out list is followed (lowering heaters, removing garbage, putting dishes away etc). The bin provided by the porch is only meant for guests to use use during their stay. You must remove ALL accumulated waste from the bin and from the cabin upon check-out. You can take it to the Greene County Solid Waste Management in Windham, Hunter, or any available garbage receptacles in public areas. If you are here during a holiday, please take notes of this and remove waste during open days/hours. ★ Most Holiday weekends require 3 nights minimum stay/charge. ★ Check In/Check Out: Cabin is ready for guests from 4 PM on the day of arrival. Check out is at or before 10 AM. (Earlier check in or later check out can be arranged, for an additional fee. This service is only available if there are no prior guests leaving on the day of your arrival, or arriving on your departure day, and if it does not interfere with Host schedule.
