Garden annexe, walking distance to Holmfirth

This rustic, one roomed cabin for two has all you need to relax and gather yourself for the pleasures of the Holme Valley; walking, eating, drinking, gigs at the Picturedrome, arts and film festivals. The historic village of Netherthong has a convenience store and two pubs - one has a very good Indian restaurant. Beautiful views are all around and quiet countryside walks start right from the door. Home-made bread and jam, milk, coffee and tea will be provided for your first breakfast. The space ** the shower facilities are in the main house** The cabin is a clean, bright space which gives an instant feeling of relaxation. There are lovely views of trees to the rear with the garden all around and a door onto a wide wooden patio area. There are wooden floors with under floor heating. There is a fridge with freezer compartment. A microwave is available for cooking. There is an en suite toilet. The cabin has Wi-Fi and a large table which could easily be used as a work space. We have a playful Patterdale terrier. We will aim to keep her out of your way. Guest access The cabin has its own door, accessed from the house driveway. You can be independent. Car parking spaces are available on the road outside which is a quiet cul-de-sac. Guests can use the patio area, with basic table, chairs and sunshades. The garden can be accessed directly from the cabin but will be shared with us. If you have a dog we would appreciate arranging access to the garden to fit in with our own dog’s needs. During your stay We will be here in the main house during your stay. You can ring the doorbell or text me through the Airbnb site. Other things to note The decor and garden are quirky with a style peculiar to us. The cabin has pottery and tiles hand made by my partner. The blinds are home made in classic William Morris textiles. Comfort and pleasure is derived from self styled decor rather than contemporary design.
