Countryside Barn in the Surrey Hills

This is perfect for you if enjoy the outdoors. My advice... plan your time wisely! There's so much to do and much of it is right on the doorstep! The space Lovely little place to base yourself. I think the pictures speak for themselves in terms of where you'll be. For the first morning, I always leave/tea/coffee/milk/something for breakfast i.e. croissants/bread for toast Please note: the sofa bed is only Queen sized and suitable for one adult. If two adults book the barn and want the sofa bed making up as the second bed, there is an additional charge of £15. Please let me know at time of booking, so I can add it to the acceptance for billing purposes. Guest access The Barn is separate from the main house with its own designated parking space. The Barn does not have garden space however there is walking access to the road that leads to the Devil's Punchbowl from the house. Other things to note If you want a great mobile connection, and an all-singing, all-dancing TV - this may not be the place for you. However, if you want to disconnect a wee bit, explore, be active and breathe in the freshest of air - it is - and if you like star gazing - it's also pretty good for that too - so on clear nights - its really rather stunning :) For foodies - Chef Bruno - French private chef, is the other half of The Barn duo & whilst he doesn't have a huge amount of spare time, he can rustle up a good & simple charcuterie-style sharing platter, and in the summer, the BBQ tends to sizzle with Ribeye, Sirloin or Bavette steaks, usually served with a black peppercorn sauce & a Roquefort salad with walnuts and gherkins! I've added some pics of platters he's prepared for guests previously and if you're interested let me know, and I'll send details. Please also note that the barn - and property - is next to the road. It's a small and generally quiet road (certainly at night) and can be seen on The Barn pics. If the Hindhead tunnel is closed for any reason (usually repairs), traffic does come through our way, thankfully its rarely. Finally: over the Christmas period, there is a minimum 2 night stay over the period 24th-26th December (so no check-in/check out on Christmas Day).
