The space The Big House sleeps 8 / 3 bedrooms - 3 kings and two twins. 2 full bathrooms. Dining table for 14 ppl and pool table & darts - Indoor pool and Margaritaville Tiki Bar. Only guests on the reservations (14 Max ppl) are allowed on the property. ALLIGATORS! There are alligators in the lake. DO NOT SWIM OR DANGLE YOUR FEET OFF THE DOCK. The dock is on a creek of Lake Marion and Alligators like the shallow waters. IF YOU ARE BRINGING A BOAT - it has to be a boat without a center console or have a bimini top. Please note there is a bridge you have to go under to get to the big lake. There are stumps in the creek so please go slow. Please check with me so I can tell you the water level. Lake Marion has a dam/lock that controls the water levels so we have no control of the water level. Usually, they have it high in the summer and lower it in the fall/winter. Occasionally they drain the lake. This is common for most lakes with a dam/lock. We're at their mercy on this - as well as anyone on the lake. INDOOR POOL - The indoor pool is a shallow water pool. If you are concerned anyone in your party can't swim or stand in 4.5 feet of water please be cautious of booking. INDOOR POOL - Please do not bring glass into the pool room. This is important. If you have to bring glass to the house please put it in the plastic cups provided in both houses. There are no glass drinking glasses in either of the houses. INDOOR POOL - The indoor pool is set at 92 degrees. The room temp is usually 75 - 78 degrees. There is a dehumidifier that automatically turns on if the humidity is over 65%. You cannot change these settings. The pool pump runs 24/7 because the pump has to be on for the heater to heat. This is an indoor pool science ; ) INDOOR POOL - The indoor pool is covered to keep the temp and humidity in the pool. Please uncover to enjoy, but when you are not enjoying it please cover it back up - this takes 30 seconds with 2 ppl. This is important for the temp of the water and temp and humidity in the room. Thank you!! NOTE: This is country - we have the best high-speed cable Wi-Fi offered. If you are in the big house connected to Wi-Fi you are great w/ calling/working but the property is 2.5 acres. We have 2 Wi-Fi extenders but you may not get Wi-Fi on the whole property/dock. The Small House has limited Wi-Fi. Some cell service providers work better - some don't. Having a 5G phone helps. This is the perfect place to get off the grid for family and friends time. NOTE: If you are wanting to use this house for a birthday party or party with over 14 people total, details MUST be discussed prior. Airbnb does not allow parties. There are extra fees and house rules. NOTE: We are not always at this property - there are security cameras on the driveways that are on when people are not. We will not have them on during your stay and they are only on the driveways. NOTE: This house has a septic tank and well water that is completely safe to drink. Please do not flush flushable wipes flushable feminine products, or grease. It will clog the system. Please make sure everyone in your group understands this. Please bring firewood and fire starters if you wish to use the Fire Pit or you can buy unlimited firewood for your stay for $50.00 on-site with us.
