Built in the 19th century this traditional 4- bedroom chalet has been modernly renovated and can be rented by up to 9 persons, which makes it the ideal stay for families and friends. The chalet has been refurnished with love and attention to the details. The space On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped open kitchen with a big wooden table and a living room area. There is also a big patio with a sitting area where you can drink your afternoon coffee or have lunch with family and friends. The view of the picturesque spying is breathtaking. Furthermore, there is a bedroom with a bed sized 140x200 and a big bathroom with a hot tub. On the first floor you will find one big bathroom with a big shower and 3 bedrooms, with each 180x200 beds. There is also one small bed which can be added to a bedroom for a child. Two of the bedrooms have a wonderful balcony and one of those has a separate bathroom with a shower. The private parking is located at the church which is 1 minute away by foot and it is signed Kobelt. Everything is within walking distance. 3 minutes away from the house you will find a wonderful bakery (Bäckerei M. Winker) and several coffees and restaurants. Next to the bakery there is a tourist information office (viamala. ch) and also a nice hotel called “Hotel Bodenhaus Splügen” (hotel-bodenhaus. ch) Furthermore in the village there is a grocery store (Volg), a butcher, a souvenir shop and a large sports shop next to the ski lift station which is 10 min. by foot away (spluegen. ch). Other things to note Splügen is situated at 1457 m.a.s.l. on the Rhine Forest near the Splügen Pass and San Bernadino Pass. The Splügen Pass already played an important role 2000 years ago and connected Graubünden with Italy even then. It leads from Splügen about 9 km south to the Italian border with the province of Sondrio. The village of Splügen has an award-winning townscape with Walser houses, which was largely rebuilt after a village fire (1716). In summer, the area offers more than 100 km of hiking trails with gigantic views, mountain lakes and old mountain villages. In winter, the Splügen-Tambo ski area is a popular destination for skiing and cross-country skiing enthusiasts. The Splügen Pass is also increasingly used for quad tours.
