The area is strategic and is about 300 meters from the Walls of Lucca. The city center and train station are easily accessible: Porta Elisa (access to the historic center) in 5 minutes on foot and 3 by bike, 3 minutes by public transport). Public transit is adjacent to the house. The house is located on the historic Via Francigena. Nearby, you can enjoy beautiful walks in the Lucca countryside, appreciating the ancient medieval buildings and historic villas. You can forget about the car, well protected in the private area, and comfortably reach Florence, Pisa or the Versilia, the Garfagnana. In fact, in front of the entrance gate, the local bus passes that takes you without further changes to the train station or the bus station. In an hour, you can reach the Cinque Terre area in Liguria, or, heading south, you will find Bolgheri with its magnificent landscapes and its prestigious red wine. In an hour and a half, passing through the Chianti Classico vineyards, you reach Siena and the magnificent villages of San Gimignano and Monteriggioni. You can go jogging, mountain biking to discover suggestive corners. Guest access The garden, pool, parking and bicycles are for your exclusive use! The house is close to supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pubs, bakeries, pastry shops, newsstands, copy shops, and a pharmacy. The center/historical walls are easily accessible either on foot, multiple routes can take you there (ask me), or even the bus in front of the house gate in a few minutes will take you to Piazza Napoleone, also called Piazza Grande. Guests are encouraged to strictly adhere to the separate collection of waste during their stay. Guests will need to accompany their dogs outside the private garden for excrement. Other things to note The location is strategic for the Lucca Summer Festival and the Lucca Comics and Games (with bicycles you can reach the events independently and in a few minutes).
