The Little Wren, as we call it, is a charming and fully furnished bungalow centrally located on the historic grid of Durango, but in a quieter part of town. Walk or bike to town, to coffee around the corner or Durango Natural Foods market a couple blocks away. The Sky Steps and Rim Trail are just a few blocks north. The small yard offers a shady area for eating al fresco or letting your small dog have some outdoor time. The Little Wren is a 2 bed / 1 bath house with a small living room, and 3 person dining table situated in the kitchen space. Front bedroom has a twin size trundle bed with another twin pull out. There is a desk and chair in this room for a small "office" area. As well as two small closets with extra bedding. WIFi is high speed and all of our guests have had an easy time being set up to work remote. The back bedroom has a new Helix Birch organic queen mattress and minimal closet space. The living room is equipped with two sofas, one chair, coffee table and a Roku WiFi TV. The kitchen is fully furnished with an efficiency fridge, small gas range and stove, pots and pans, dishware, coffee maker, hot water maker, and a microwave. There is a washer and dryer in the basement, which is very rustic. Taking laundry to the laundermat may be preferred if uneasy about going down the stairs into the historic basement where the washer and dryer are located. Central front door with on street parking steps away We live a couple blocks away if you ever need anything. The door has a key code that we will provide prior to arrival.
