30 day minimum Tiny garden cottage with a small kitchenette and small sleeping loft with a full futon. This is a very cute, very cozy space -- perfect for a single person or a couple. The loft has a low ceiling -- think ship's bunk. . Bathroom in main house (the cottage does not have its own bathroom). There's a 30 night min/max to stay in compliance with County rules but longer stays are also an option. We have cats and dogs. Visiting pets are welcome but there's a fee. The space Craftsman style country home on a sunny half acre just South of Santa Cruz. The property is a ten minute drive from beaches and excellent small restaurants. We are designed for indoor outdoor living. Located 60 min from Silicon Valley and 90 min South of San Francisco in a country setting, we are a beautiful 40 min drive North of Monterey Bay Aquarium. Take a day trip to Big Sur. Or hike in the nearby Redwoods. Bike the local wineries and apple orchards just minutes from the house. Santa Cruz has a vibrant music and dance scene, a Boardwalk as well as sailing, surfing and kayaking. We are a mile from public transportation so getting around without a car is difficult although one of our long term guests is an Uber driver. Bedroom and guest cottage are both perfect for a couple. A larger group can book the main house -- up to three couples. Kids and pets welcome. No indoor smoking please. Guest access Cottage guests access the bathroom and kitchen through the back door. The bathroom in the main house is shared between the cottage guests and the small bedroom. Guests who need ready bathroom access will be more comfortable in the small bedroom as it adjoins the bathroom. During your stay I work multiple jobs and, while I love people and enjoy AirBandB guests, the reality is that I am often gone from home. We have dogs and cats. This is country living with pollens and trees that bloom and flowers and all the joys of nature. But it is NOT a good fit for people who are "ultra sensitive or have allergies." My pets are not allowed in the cottage but there have been past visiting dogs. I do not give refunds for folks who have allergies and book anyway then cancel and ask for a full refund. We have many guests with mild allergies, like me, who do just fine. Other things to note I do not mind late arrivals. We love animals and have both cats and dogs.
