Poplar Den at Linville Falls, NC

Great mountain getaway in the community of Linville Falls in North Carolina. Our cozy cabin will provide a great base camp for fun outdoor adventures along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, and the Linville Gorge. After a day of adventure you can look forward to a relaxing soak in the hot tub with privacy and solitude. Our cabin offers all the comforts of your own home combined with the beauty and serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The space Poplar Den is a spacious 900 sq foot 1-bedroom cabin. The cabin has updated amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen, while still retaining its rustic charm. Indoors you will find a gas fireplace, flat screen TV with Dish service, and reclining furniture. With over 400 sq feet of covered outdoor porches, you will have lots of room for outdoor relaxing, including a table and seating area, and your very own hot tub! The cabin is easily accessible and not far from area activities and restaurants. We are less than a half-mile from two restaurants and a general store, within one mile of the Blue Ridge Parkway (Exit 317.4), and less than 3 miles from the Linville Falls Winery. There is another 1-bedroom cabin located on the 4-acre property (but not too close), you will share the paved driveway but will have a dedicated parking area. Our other cabin is called Hemlock Cove at Linville Falls and makes a great way to have a shared vacation – without sharing your space! NOTE: based on our remote location and lack of reliable providers, we do not have internet service at the cabin. Throughout the High Country, cell phone service is spotty. At our cabin Verizon works the best. There is a land line inside the cabin for incoming and emergency calls.
