Caravan Polly: Camping in our orchard

Come camp in our cozy caravan at our nature farm Huize Blokland! In the ancient orchard, being outside, with your feet in the grass and your nose in the wind/sun. Wake up to the view of the animals and the West Frisian landscape and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Walk around among the animals, including chickens, sheep, cats and a cow. Located in the countryside, 3 km away from the IJsselmeer and 10 km away from Enkhuizen&Hoorn. The space Our caravan is cozier than cozy :) There is a kitchenette with gas stove, a fridge and sink. There is a built-in doubter with a panoramic view over the orchard and meadows with our animals. There is a lot of storage space under the bed, for possibly a dog crate or luggage. In addition, there are a seating area overlooking our lush orchard. In front of the caravan is a nice paved terrace so you always have dry feet. There is a shared toilet and hot shower outside the caravan 30 meters away. There is also an extra compost toilet. In the Stable, the large space in the photos, you can use the kitchen, wash dishes, eat indoors in bad weather, play games and chill in the sitting area with a booklet off the shelf. You can also make coffee and tea here. If you want to come with more than two people, you can book a campsite and set up your tent next to the caravan. One child up to about 2 years old can also stay in a travel cot in the caravan, if you fold the table in the sitting area. We provide you with enough wool blankets and firewood (5 euros per large bucket) to light a fire daily to warm you up or stare romantically:) In our yard, sheep, a cuddly cow, chickens and cats all love to be cuddled. In the immediate vicinity is the IJsselmeer where you can swim, walk and cycle and visit the cozy voc towns of Enkhuizen, Hoorn and Medemblik. It is also a perfect base to explore North Holland, think of Marken, Volendam, the Wadden Islands, the coast and the North Holland polders (Beemster, Schermer, etc) and of course Amsterdam. We advise you to come by private car or bicycle as the distances to amenities and attractions are too large to travel on foot. Would you still like to use the public transport: the nearest train station is 3km away and a bus with limited timetable is 500m. Bicycles can be rented from us or from a bicycle shop in the village (if booked in advance). Pets are also welcome for 10 euros per animal per day extra. Guest access Our grooming farmyard invites you to lie in the grass of the orchard, read a book in the sun or cuddle with the animals. Children can ride around stair tractors and go-karts, wave the rings, climb straw bales and jump on the trampoline and play in the sandbox. In season you can pick apples and pears and harvest from the vegetable garden. There is a fire pit where you can make fire to your heart's content. On rainy days, children can play in the barn (tractors, straw bales to climb on, bicycles) and there is also a ping pong and snooker table.
