Relax at Goughs Bay

LAKE…BOATING…SNOW...SKIING BOOK 3 NIGHTS and have extra night ON US. Enjoy the lake, swimming, boating skiing or just looking out to the grand views of Eildon lake and the beautiful mountains relaxing with the family. Wake up to the water view from your bedroom. See kookaburras, parrots, rosellas and the quaint red and blue robins. The kangaroos that make themselves at home. In the Winter enjoy a short trip to the Snowy mountains in Mt. Buller. Or a little food and wine at the local Boat club. The space Our home has been described as very cosy with beautiful views. The bedrooms are all carpeted. Sliding doors out to the patio and the master bedroom has a Leadlight door (shown in the pictures) to the patio. There is a large deck off the living area where there is a BBQ and seated area. All decking areas across the back have a view of the lake. Living area has an efficient large split system air con and smaller one in the main bedroom. There are portable heaters in the other two bedrooms. Or choose to light the Jindara wood heater to keep warm for those cooler nights. Guest access Private access to the whole house for guests. Other things to note We hope you are able to take advantage of the sights. *The Mansfield zoo which is just down the road. *The maze which is even closer. Serving lunches in the beer garden under the big beautiful trees and enjoy a drink of choice. *Goughs Bay boat club with their beautiful food and views. *Delatite winery also close by. *Boat club just down the road, serving food and drinks. *Local Goughs Bay Caravan park serving Pizza over the weekends. We do ask that guests be conscious of the WATER used as we are only on tank water. We don’t advise drinking the tap water although it is fine to shower in and boil for cuppas. We suggest you bring bottled water for drinking. We have a bench ceramic filter. The toilet is septic, so we ask for you to please NOT put anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. We have GAS bottles. So if one runs out you just need to turn the lever towards the other full bottle. That’s country living in the High Country.
