Noosa Hinterland Cottage - Illusion of seclusion

A place to stay in Pomona, built in 2022 on 10 acres in the heart of the Noosa Hinterland; 2 min drive to the town Centre or 15min walk provides quick access to key amenities, essential supplies and Saturday morning markets...and of course good coffee. Enjoy the westerly sunsets on the deck and mountain views to take in the peace and quiet of the Noosa national parks and local wildlife and our horses. Alternatively, go for a walk or climb Mount Cooroora, 2 mins to base. The space The cabin is new and modern, feels like a home with all the amenities of home. The term "Illusion of Seclusion" refers to the idea that when you stay with us you feel like you're a long way from anywhere but in fact you are close to all the amenities of town. Electricity is on-grid + solar and water is from tank and optionally from town, so you won't be left short on essentials. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, built-ins etc... the other room has a bunk with a double at the bottom and a single mattress on the top. All rooms have fans and there is a split system if you need to cool things down or warm things up. If your missing home and feel like cleaning, there is a stick vacuum in the pantry cupboard and an iron to iron out a few wrinkles from your packed clothes. The washer dryer combo in the bathroom will do a quick 15min wash to catch up on your holiday laundry. There are horse paddocks next to the cabin including a round yard which we may use as part the natural use of the property. The horse arena is also visible, and you may see our girls or our agistors training and riding horses. Always a pleasant experience. Although pets are allowed, preferably small dogs, cats, birds or a horse. There is no dog proof fencing but if you can restrain your larger pet with an enclosure that should be ok. If you need to clarify any special use case to accommodate your pet, please ask. Guest access You'll have access to the top of the property and able go visit the horses :-) the fences are electrified so be careful. I'll provide you with a key and a remote for the front gate so you can come and go as you please. You'll have an undercover parking spot for one car/van or you can park closer to the cottage if you prefer. Other things to note Please see rules if you intend to bring a pet. The cabin is positioned well to ensure your privacy and enjoyment of the surrounds. We supply all necessary major and small appliances, cutlery, plates, pots and pans.
