This is a quiet, peaceful home meant for relaxation. Other Units on the Property & Noise Awareness This home was built in 1938, and sound can travel more easily than in newer homes—especially through the hardwood floors. Please be mindful of noise, particularly in the living room, bathroom, and bedroom areas, as a long-term tenant lives in the basement unit below. There is also a long-term tenant in a separate back unit. Their private entrance is through the gate visible from the kitchen window—please respect their space and do not enter that area. I also live on-site in a separate unit and may come and go during your stay. Heating Notes The home is heated with baseboard heaters connected to a boiler system. You may hear clanking or tapping noises when the system turns on—this is completely normal for this type of heating, though it can be surprising if you’re not used to it. Parking There are three gravel parking spots on the property, with one designated space for your unit. Any additional vehicles should park on the street or in the cul-de-sac. Please park parallel-style and avoid blocking driveways. While I’m often at work, I’m always available through Airbnb messaging.
