You will stay in a historic house that was the seat of the consular jurisdiction of Auxerre from 1568 to 1791. The recently renovated apartment is located in a quiet street and close to shops, restaurants and monuments. You can walk to all the essential sites of the city: half-timbered houses, Saint-Germain abbey, Saint Eusèbe church (1min.), clock tower, Saint-Etienne cathedral, quays of the Yonne. The space The flat is very bright thanks to its exposure on two streets and an interior courtyard. - The master bedroom has a Queen size bed (160x200 cm) and an adjoining bathroom with bathtub, washbasin and toilet. Antique oak parquet flooring. - Second bedroom with two single beds (90x190cm) and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and washbasin. Antique oak parquet flooring. - Large and bright living room with a table for 6 people, sofa bed, beautiful fireplace. - Fully equipped kitchen. - "Ecological" air conditioning: in case of strong heat you will appreciate the maintenance of a pleasant coolness thanks to the thick stone walls. Guest access The service door leads into the medieval tower, whose spiral staircase leads to an inner courtyard. You can admire the old watchtower.
