B&B on farm near D-Day beaches - Chambre Hortensia

Welcome to La Ferme du Pressoir! This working farm has been part of our family for generations. Relax in your charming room, one of three in this renovated stone building. Start the morning with our famous hearty breakfast, spend your days visiting the D-Day beaches and World War II sites, Bayeux, Caen, Mont Saint-Michel... then return to the tranquility of the farm and garden filled with birdsong... The space Our guest rooms are located in a completely renovated old stone barn. The entrance opens onto a common room shared with other guests. Your room, La Chambre Hortensia, is located on the 1st floor, with sparkling parquet underfoot, and furnished with antiques from the region. Your private bathroom (toilet, sink and shower) is attached. There is a 160 cm double bed and a twin bed. Guest access Upon entering the bed and breakfast building, you arrive in the common room, where breakfast is served on the long farm table each morning. There is also an information area with brochures on sites and attractions, and a seating area to plan your activities, as well as a TV. A small kitchenette in the common room is mainly used to prepare and store breakfast food, but is also available for your use. A dining table just outside the terrace is at your disposal, overlooking the fruit trees and a field. Sun loungers are available for relaxing in the sun. A swing and toys are available for children. You can also visit goats, sheep, horses and chickens! During your stay I'm available to answer any questions! In 18 years of running a bed and breakfast, I have received extremely positive feedback. I'm launching on the AirBnB platform for the first time in 2022; you can find reviews from past guests on other Internet platforms. Other things to note An all-you-can-eat breakfast is included in the price of your room. We are famous for our hearty farm breakfasts, which can include an assortment of baked goods, bread, cheese, meat, eggs, yogurt, cereals, fruit... as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice... Please note that the Wi-Fi signal is strongest in the common room. Thick stone walls sometimes prevent the signal from reaching all parts of the building. Finally, please note that we are located just outside Villers-Bocage. Do not confuse us with another vacation rental with the same name, La Ferme du Pressoir, located in Conteville. The owner's name there is also coincidentally Odile.
