It is able to accommodate a single working professional or student without any problems. A strong Wi-Fi internet connection and spacious desk in the room also allow for guests to be productive during short or long-term stays. Guests will also have access to TV shows, movies, and Netflix content, as well as laundry room and immediate access to the backyard. Located in a quiet York University Heights neighborhood, this accommodation is a well maintained house with plenty of sunlight, large island kitchen counter top and boutique style bathroom, minimalist decor that is cozy and uncluttered. Walking distance from the Rexall/Aviva Tennis Centre, York University & Seneca college campus, state of the art hospitals, the Historical Black Creek Pioneer Village, Parks and Nature conservation areas. Express & frequent transit to downtown, as well as 10-15 bus/car rides minutes to major shopping malls, amusement parks and Pearson International Airport. Short walks to groceries and restaurants. We are avid games, so we also have a variety of video game consoles (PS3, PS4, and Nintendo Wii). If you'd like us to set you up for some video game entertainment - please let us know. Guests may freely the provided utensils and items provided in the kitchen, living room and laundry spaces. Please see below for detailed information: RESTRICTED/OFF LIMITS: -Property, items, rooms belonging to other guests -Home Theater System (We will gladly set it up for you, so please ask) Living Area: -Comfy couch, dining table that easily fits 5-6 people, -Courtesy PC with free guest access on the side -HDTV with Internet channels and Netflix -PlayStation 3 with a variety of games -Nintendo Wii with 150 + games Kitchen: A gourmet kitchen, designed with stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, fridge, microwave, stove, refridgerator) and center island counter with double sinks. Fully stocked with dishes, kettle, pots, and basic cooking utensils etc. Laundry: There two laundry machines/dryers in the house that are free for use on weekends, and off-peak hours (suggested by the city of Toronto). Iron and iron board that you can use without charge, are made available as well. Free Street Parking (read carefully): -Available during Evening & Weekends -Weekday parking one hour only between 8:00am - 8:00pm -Weekday overnight parking free between 8:00pm - 8:00am Indoor Parking: -We also provide indoor parking for $10.00/night on a request basis. (based on availability) Security: -Door key - The front door is operated with a private 4-digit code, so you will have 24 hour access to the house without worrying about keys. -Room key - Your room will have a private key, so you can safely store your luggage and personal items without worry. -Security Camera - Please note that we do have security camera's setup as part of our home surveillance system. Although we have never had the need to review them, we want to ensure your stay is safe and comfortable on all fronts. We often go out for dinner, movies, sports activities, events and festivals. Please feel free to ask if you would like to make any special trips. We have explored Toronto and the surrounding area, and would love to make some recommendations. If you like to hang out, let us know as well. We'd love to invite you out. We would love to share our travel and work experience, and if you prefer to have a quiet private zone you will totally get it. Often times we also have other guests, and we think of our guests as friends. We often notice that guests love going out together, and quickly get to know each other, so don't be shy. Other things to note PLEASE read our house rules! You are only reserving one bedroom with private washroom and a very large closet. However, you also have access to the rest of the house, meaning that kitchen/living room areas are all available to you as well. Although our check in and check out time is flexible, just let me know what time you are planning to arrive. For late check-in we won't be able to stay around past 9:00pm, but will make arrangements for self check-in. We do offer Airport for $40 as well. We are available – if asked - to offer information and suggestions about Toronto and what’s nearby and what’s hot. We have a bicycle that you may borrow when available (based on availability/please ask) to take a ride around the area and explore.
