Vacation Rental FreLune

Our vacation home FreLune is located near Tongeren. The ideal base for hiking, biking, shopping... it is a stone's throw from Hasselt, Liège, Maastricht and Aachen... The house has 4 spacious rooms each with a double bed, a private bathroom with walk-in shower, a double sink and toilet. In addition, there is a large living area with a fully equipped kitchen and sitting area. In the courtyard, there is a separate "outdoor room" for guests with a terrace and sauna. The space The vacation home is located on the right side of our small square farmhouse, we ourselves live on the left side together with our 17-year-old daughter Luna and Marie our somewhat elderly cat. Part of the house has been there since 1781, and where the vacation home is now, used to be stables and a barn. We started this renovation project in 2011 and with a lot of sweat, blood and tears, we renovated everything ourselves and in our own way. All bedrooms have a private bathroom with walk-in shower and sink with double sink. Each bathroom has its own toilet area. There are 2 rooms on the ground floor and 2 rooms on the 1st floor. Furthermore, there is a spacious living area with sitting area and a well-equipped "open kitchen". Unfortunately, we do not have a garden, but for our guests, we have set up a "garden room". Here, guests can use a private terrace with garden furniture, a small lounge corner with a hot tub for 4 to 5 people, and in the back of the garden room, there is a sauna room with a Finnish sauna and a cold shower. In the sauna room, there is also a separate toilet. Guest access Guests can access the rented right part, the outdoor room and part of the barn where the bicycle shed is. The areas that are not accessible will be marked as "Private". Cars are not allowed on the premises, only for loading and unloading. Other things to note Since our house is located in a village center and we would like to live on good terms with our neighbors, no parties such as "bachelor parties", parties or loud music are allowed. If this does happen, we will immediately terminate the rental agreement and ask the guests to leave the house in compliance with the house rules upon departure.
