The building is located along the main street of the historic center of Ripatransone, right in the cathedral square. Its privileged location guarantees unique views that are rarely found all together within a historic building. The space The building is located along the main street of the historic center, right in the cathedral square. Its privileged location guarantees unique views that are rarely found all together within a historic building. On the one hand, we have the characteristic village and the sea in the distance, on the other hand, a boundless view towards the beautiful Marche hills. The apartment in question is located on the second floor and attic. The living area enjoys an exceptional view of the cathedral square, while the upper floor of the sleeping area is characterized by a 'pocket' terrace, typical of the architecture of the historic center of Ripiano. The interior design is inspired by the landscape that is offered by looking outside. From the two windows inserted in the niches on the lower floor you can enjoy the atmosphere of the village that is enriched in the distance by the green of the tree foliage, as if to provide a frame. Taking inspiration from this image, we borrowed the color green from nature to frame the historic center and architectural elements. The interior space is elegantly characterized by this sage color of the walls, which is also reflected in the staircase. In addition, in the center of the room there is this 'mobile-object', also designed by us, which simultaneously performs two functions; on one side a kitchen table and on the other a headboard-armrest or headboard-bedside table, depending on the function that the sofa bed will perform. In the attic, on the other hand, all views are aimed at the sky. On this floor, however, blue enters and pervades the sleeping area. In the shade of baby blue, the walls of the rooms give a more relaxing character to the rooms, with exposed beams and wardrobes all custom-designed. With the brightest tones of sky blue, the seating characterizes the small terrace, offering a privileged view of the sea and the Ripano skyline. A refined intervention that gives character to the apartment that pays homage to the context, highlighting it in a contemporary way and making it part of the daily use of the spaces.
