Sunset House is a 2 bedroom gem located in the hills of Haad Yao, arguably one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island. The views are exceptional and you can enjoy the most magical sunsets all year round. The house has been lovingly restored to a high standard. You will find some beautifully unique design elements, as well as everything you will need to make your stay a very comfortable one. Come and experience the magic, you'll never want to leave! The space "No matter where you are in the house, you can see the view from virtually anywhere" Entering the house via the double bamboo doors into the hallway; to the left hand side you will find the master bedroom and to the right the beautiful view over the living area, looking towards the sea. The master bedroom features a super comfortable king size bed, with sumptuous bedding and pillows. It has fitted mirrored wardrobes, air-conditioning and also a ceiling fan. Additional there is a vanity / work desk with extra shelving and of course, don't forget about the view! The en-suite bathroom features ceiling to floor mirrored cupboards, sink, toilet, hot rainfall shower, shower curtain and shelving. Carrying along the hallway and into the kitchen you have bedroom 2 to the left hand side. Bedroom 2 features a super comfortable queen size bed, with sumptuous bedding and pillows. It also has fitted mirrored wardrobes, side drawers, air-conditioning and also a ceiling fan. The en-suite bathroom features a sink, toilet, hot rainfall shower, shower curtain and shelving. The kitchen is big and comes fully equipped with everything you will need to make that perfect breakfast, lunch, dinner or sunset drink. Kitchen equipment includes: Oven, electric hob, fridge / freezer, double sink (with "secret" sea-view window), toaster, kettle, blender, pots & pans, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, utensils, knives etc The far end of the kitchen can also be used as a great office / work space. The dining are seats 6 people comfortably and also has a sun/wind/rain blind for convenience. The hammock and "garden area" to the right of the balcony is a great place to relax. A watering can is provided and guests are encouraged to water the plants. The living area is large and has ample sofa seating, as well as a large flat screen TV with cable channels and HDMI lead. For guests wishing to swim, there is JB Hut Bungalows located at the bottom of the hill. Guests can enjoy full access to the swimming pool for 120 THB per day or 800 THB per week Guest access Guests have full access to all parts of the House Other things to note Please note that the villa is about half way up the hill behind JB Hut. Although the section of the hill to get up to the House isn't that steep, the turning into the drive way has a tricky angle. We recommend to guests hiring a car, ensure that you hire a 4x4. For guests using motorbikes, no problem - my wife and I get to the House no problem on a Honda Click 125cc :) We have a dedicated cleaning and maintenance team on Island so if there is anything in the house that needs attention, one of our team will be happy to assist. Likewise, all rentals are covered with our complimentary cleaning policy: The house will be cleaned (including changing of linens and towels) every 5 nights. For stays of 5 nights or less, the house will be cleaned only at check in / out. For stays of between 6 - 10 nights, the house will be cleaned once at check in and once during the mid-point of your stay. For anything over this it will be cleaned everything 5 nights. Guests can request an extra clean at a cost of 2,000 THB per clean. Electricity is included in the price to the value of 3,000 THB per calendar month (pro-rated for shorter stays) - this is to encourage guests to remember to: 1. close all doors and windows when using the air-conditioning unit(s) 2. to turn it off when not in the House. The amount of electric allocated is enough for approximately 12-16 hours a day of air-conditioning usage, depending on the setting used. We recommend using the setting of "cool" at a temperature of approximately 22 degrees. We provide Guests with electric metre start and end readings. Electric is charged at 7 THB per unit. Please note it is very rare for us to have to charge Guests any extra to use electricity unless the air-conditioning has been used in the wrong way (mentioned in points 1 & 2 above).
