Unbelievable location nestled in the heart of Stowe Historic Village on Main Street. We are right across from the most iconic and photographed church in Vermont. Late 1800's farmhouse charm meets modern rustic decor, with locally sourced finishes and furniture. Unparalleled access to shops, restaurants, hiking, mountain biking, and free shuttle service to Stowe Mountain. Hosted by a long time Stowe family with deep ties to the area - we sold our farm to the Von Trapps when they moved here! The space Boasts all steel appliances, fully stocked kitchen, gleaming quartz counters, Scandinavian vibe quilts/rugs, luxurious spa-like fully tiled bathroom with Carrara marble accents, rustic wood beam architectural ceilings, wide planked pine floors, and locally sourced, high quality furniture. Guest access Entire 2 bedroom apartment, 1 dedicated parking spot onsite. Other things to note The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy gourmet meals - one guest even cooked Thanksgiving dinner here! If you do get sick of cooking amazing meals in our kitchen, we are a stone's throw away from some of the best restaurants in downtown Stowe. We even boast being directly above Black Cap Coffee, where guests love being awakened by the smell of freshly baked croissants every morning. Never a bad thing. DISCLAIMERS: This is a deeply historic building (with all the charm) and as such is not ADA accessible. It requires guests to ascend an exterior staircase and walk from a rear parking lot that has uneven sections. It's all very doable, but just a warning to those who have trouble walking. We are above a real life functioning bakery and as such, there may be noise from the bakers early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper or are bothered by noise please note this. We are smack dab in the center of bustling downtown Stowe, so there is urban noise. This is NOT a wooded, transcendentalist experience, but an amazing location if you desire access to shops and restaurants.
